Dr. Rachel Oppitz, ND, is a licensed and registered naturopathic doctor and founder of Itasca Naturopathic Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota.
She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, followed by a two-year family practice residency at Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic in Montana.
Dr. Oppitz works with people who are looking for a more thoughtful, individualized approach to their health. Many of her patients come to her because they are dealing with ongoing symptoms, multiple health concerns, or questions that have not been fully answered through conventional care alone.

From there, she works collaboratively with each patient to determine what deserves further investigation and to create a practical, individualized plan.
Her goal is not simply to treat a diagnosis. It is to understand the person and help them better understand their own health.
Dr. Oppitz believes patients should feel comfortable asking questions, understand the reasoning behind the recommendations, and have an active role in decisions about their care.
For many patients, that means slowing the process down enough to look at the bigger picture... identifying patterns, prioritizing what matters most, and taking the next steps one at a time.
